Garry’s Mod servers knowledge base for CLASH RP community: detailed rules for gameplay, chat communication and admin usage. Each rule has a punishment description. Read the rules before playing to avoid bans.
Doors — Buying doors without using the property, holding empty buildings, and selling doors during a raid are prohibited.
RP Commands — Refusing required roleplay, lying in /do, declaring a successful result for another player, and repeating /try or /roll until the desired result are prohibited. The other side must be able to respond or resist.
Self-Defense — Self-defense is allowed only against an immediate threat to life or an ongoing attack. Chasing and killing after the threat ends is prohibited. Trespassing or theft alone does not permit an automatic kill when there is no armed threat.
Public Shooting — In public, fire may be opened only against a current threat, an identified participant in an active raid or war, or during lawful use of force by a government employee. Shooting based on profession, suspicion, insult, or a fleeing player without lawful grounds is prohibited.
Profession Trading — Buying or selling a profession slot and bypassing its limit are prohibited.
Item Concealment — Hiding items inside solid props or storing weapons and contraband after a search begins is prohibited.
Repeated Search — Searching the same player more than once within 5 minutes without new grounds is prohibited.
Raid Reason — A raid is allowed only for arrest, hostage rescue, theft or destruction of contraband, or another profession-specific goal. A raid begins with its declaration, the first door or keypad breach, placement of explosives, or entry onto the property.
Government Raid — Government employees require an active warrant. Entry without a warrant is allowed only for gunfire from inside, an immediate threat to life, a hostage, or pursuit of a wanted person who entered the property.
Bystanders — Participants are attackers, property owners, and players knowingly helping either side. An unarmed non-interfering bystander must be warned and allowed to leave. Remaining in the combat area after a clear warning counts as interference.
Raid NLR — A dead participant may not return to the property, watch the raid, share information, or help their side again until the raid ends.
Building During a Raid — After a raid begins, neither side may create, move, recolor, or delete props, doors, or FDs. Only an object trapping a player or caused by a technical error may be removed.
Repeated Raid — The same group may raid the same property again 15 minutes after the previous raid fully ends. Changing one member or the organization name does not reset the timer.
Prohibited Areas — Raiding the spawn or safe zones is prohibited.
End of a Raid — A raid ends when its objective is completed, all attackers die or leave, or retreat is declared. Keeping a participant or item only to extend the raid is prohibited. Attackers must leave after the raid ends.
Right to Kidnap — Only professions with explicit permission may kidnap. Starting a kidnapping at spawn, in a safe zone, or in a crowded public place is prohibited. A kidnapping must have a purpose: ransom, exchange, interrogation, or a demand to another side.
Detention — Giving impossible orders, forcing rule violations, or holding a hostage without a purpose for more than 15 minutes is prohibited. Requirements must be audible. A hostage must follow FearRP while threatened and may escape when no longer controlled.
Ransom — The maximum ransom for one hostage is 300,000 game currency. Splitting the demand or requesting additional property above the limit is prohibited. The hostage must be released immediately after payment.
Killing a Hostage — A hostage may be killed only during an escape, assault, or refusal of a previously stated possible condition. At least 10 seconds must be allowed unless there is an immediate threat.
Repeated Kidnapping — The same group may kidnap the same player again 15 minutes after release or death. Changing one group member does not reset the timer.
Prohibited Ransom — Demanding donation currency, real money, or OOC property is prohibited.
Capture Participants — Only permitted professions and organizations may participate. A capture starts when the server point is activated and ends when the system announces the result. Dead players may not return, watch, or share information.
Capture Bystanders — A bystander must be allowed to leave the marked zone. Remaining after a warning, drawing a weapon, or helping a side makes the player a participant. Killing outsiders beyond the zone is prohibited.
Fixed Capture — Giving up a point without resistance, alliances between opposing sides, intentional delay, and captures only for rewards are prohibited.
Declaring War — A war requires a specific RP reason. The declaration must identify both sides and the reason. It begins after the public declaration and ends after surrender, completion of the demand, or defeat of one side’s active participants.
War Participants — Only identified members of the declared sides may be attacked. Peaceful professions and players joining after the declaration are not participants. Dead participants may not return before the war ends.
War Rules — War does not cancel NLR, FearRP, safe-zone, building, or mass-killing rules. Moving a war to spawn, safe zones, or unrelated areas is prohibited.
Repeated War — Another war between the same sides is allowed 30 minutes after the previous war officially ends.
